“For many years one of our family’s Christmas traditions has been a large dinner for family and friends on December 23rd.  Approximately 8 years ago Jon Hoffman came to our attention as a young chef with a flair.  We asked Jon to come to our home to prepare a very special meal and he far exceeded any of our expectations.  He has been an important part of this tradition ever since.  He has prepared everything from a standing 6 bone prime rib to pheasant with orange ginger sauce.  He complements every meal with delectable appetizers and flaming desserts!  There is nothing he can’t deliver.  He works with us to create a menu and assists with the wine pairings to deliver an unforgettable meal for everyone.  He takes a special interest in our grandchildren as he includes their requests in the menus.

Jon becomes a member of our family as he cooks and serves appetizers in our kitchen joining in the laughter of the crowd.  Day of the event he arrives early having done all the shopping and preparations.  Best of all, he leaves behind a clean kitchen.  

He is also a great teaching chef.  I had Jon teach a cooking class in our home for my husband’s birthday.  Duck confit is something my husband wanted to master.  Not sure he mastered it, however, Jon sure did.  We loved our couples cooking class!

Heads up, he is booked for December 23rd each year – FOREVER!
